As I look ahead to this year’s New Hampshire Conference for Women, I find myself in a quieter, more intentional season, both personally and professionally.
Over the past year, I’ve noticed a subtle but powerful shift, both in myself and in the conversations happening within our community. There’s a growing desire for steadiness, depth, and growth that doesn’t require constant pushing. Rooted felt like the right word to hold all of that.
Rooted isn’t about standing still.
It’s about grounding yourself in who you are.
It’s about drawing strength from what’s beneath the surface.
It’s about growth that feels steady, sustainable, and true.
Last year, we invited women to Sparkle, Shine, and Soar.
This year, we’re inviting you to slow down, settle in, reduce the noise, and go deeper, growing from the ground up.

This year’s gathering is being thoughtfully designed as a space for meaningful conversation, intentional learning, and connection that feels real and unrushed. A place to reflect, reconnect, and build what matters most, not just professionally, but personally.
On a personal note, I’ll be stepping away soon for a solo vacation, honoring myself and this final year of my 50s. It feels like a natural extension of this theme, choosing restoration, reflection, and rootedness as I prepare for what’s next.

For now, simply hold the date and trust that something deeply nourishing is taking shape.

Leslie Sturgeon is the spirited founder of Women Inspiring Women, and has been described as a reformed shy girl, a serial entrepreneur, a tireless leader of women in New Hampshire, a crazy dog lover and as someone who tackles life’s challenges head on with a positive attitude. She has spent her life learning about herself, taking massive action outside of her comfort zone and lived to talk about it. Leslie has “been there” and continues to transform into the best version of herself right along side you. She lives life without regret while embracing today and overflowing with excitement about what is yet to come. Leslie also likes girl talk and chocolate and laughing so hard she snorts or pees (sometimes both simultaneously).
